The Scoop?
The Inaugural Red Deer Folk Festival is set to take place on August 30 and 31, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM each day. This exciting new event is presented by Deer City Records with help of GKM Events, two local organizations passionate about enriching Red Deer's cultural landscape. Held in the City of Red Deer, the festival promises to be a vibrant celebration of music, community, food and more!
The festival will feature a diverse lineup of performances, including both emerging and established artists, reflecting the rich tapestry of Red Deer and area’s musical community.
In addition to the music, the festival will offer a variety of food vendors, a beer garden, artisan booths, and family-friendly activities, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. It's an opportunity for residents and visitors alike to come together, enjoy live music, and support the !st Annual Red Deer Folk Fest!
