The Scoop
The 2nd Annual Red Deer Folk Festival held at Westerner Park right here in Red Deer, the festival is a vibrant celebration of live entertainment, art, community, and everything that makes this city great. Expect a diverse lineup of both emerging and established live entertainment.
The Red Deer Folk Festival is dedicated to building the arts, live entertainment and community spirit and keeping it accessible to everyone . The Red Deer Folk Festival provides a platform to celebrate and showcase art, community and culture right here in Red Deer.
This year Folk Fest takes place August 28, 29, and 30, 2026:
Friday, August 28th - 4:00pm-10:30pm
Saturday, August 29th - 11:00am-10:30pm
Sunday, August 30th - 11:00am-6:30pm
Presented by Deer City Records, Red Deer Resort and Casino and Xciting Media, three local organizations passionate about enriching Red Deer’s cultural landscape.
